Jewelry is sculpture with the human form as a home.

Each piece is made by Rhys’ hands in Seattle, WA. Her work is forever inspired by being outside: riding a bike, hiking, running, or mushroom foraging on trails, swimming in alpine lakes, and finding quiet spots that are mossy, beachy, rocky, or wooded.

Processes of metalsmithing and jewelry making include soldering with an acetylene torch (silver solders at about 1275 F), hammering metal softened by heat, sanding, filing, polishing, drilling, and shaping… these are processes that require mindfulness.

Libra Metal is an expression of joy: the pleasure of creating by hand, and the exploration of nature as an endless source of inspiration and relaxation.
